Vintage French Lardy Wooden Boxwood Weighted Chess Pieces Set Staunton King 80mm
Body {font: 11px Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: olive; color: #000; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;} For sale is a vintage Wooden Chess Pieces Set This is a vintage French Lardy Boxwood Wooden Chess Pieces Set. All the pieces are finely turned with exception of the upper half of the knights which is hand carved. The pieces are weighted and have green felt pads. In excellent condition considering the age!
Looks very well preserved with signs of use related wear as seen in the pictures. There some wear on the lacquer coating on some black pieces, mostly at the top of the pawns. The pieces come with what looks like the original wooden box.
Measurements: Kings are 80 mm high and weigh 28.6 grams. Total weight with the box 627 grams. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS!
